General Information

Fresno Heart & Surgical Hospital opened in 2003 as the first locally-owned dedicated heart hospital in California, providing cardiovascular surgery. Recognizing the Valley’s growing needs, the hospital expanded in 2006 to include bariatric and general surgery.

Fresno Heart & Surgical Hospital has been named “best in the region for cardiac services” with 5-star ratings in cardiac bypass surgery and treatment of myocardial infarctions. It provides advanced technology, cutting-edge equipment and the comfort of private patient rooms.

This 57-bed facility includes three cardiac catheterization labs, three operating rooms, nine intensive care beds and 48 private patient rooms. It offers an outpatient cardiology and imaging program, heart failure program and an eight-bed day program for cardiac catheterization and outpatient surgery.

The facility is approximately 138,000 square feet and consists of a four-story patient tower connected to a two-story diagnostic and treatment building.
